Elly
is the 16 year old daughter of John and Karen Wallace. The
Wallace Family has been involved with cart racing in Oshkosh
since 2007. A number of their children race with the Kids Kart
Club located at the Sunnyview Expo Center. Elly is
the oldest of the Wallace racers.
Elly started racing the
Mini-Sprint carts back in 2007. She developed her racing
skills quickly racing with mostly boys. In her rooky year of
cart racing she finished 6th over all in points for
the cart racing. Her second year of cart racing provided many
feature wins for her and a second place finish in the points.
In 2009 she stepped up to Stock Car Racing at the Oshkosh
Speedzone. She competed in the Street Stock Division, where
she showed real promise in a tough season. It took the team
most of the season to dial in her car. She finished the season
in 13th place in the points out of 30 competitors
in 2009.
Elly is a Sophomore at Oshkosh
North High School, where she takes some un-traditional classes
for a young lady. She enjoys all her auto shop classes, yet
she still maintains her feminine side as well. Elly works at
Kodiak Jacks Restaurant in Oshkosh, so between school, racing
and work she is always on the go. Elly is fun, well spoken
& enthusiastic in life and at the track. She always takes
the time to make her fans feel special and part of the team.
Elly is still involved with the
Kids Kart Club where her younger sister and brother still race
carts. She looks forward to mentoring them both in their
racing. She is already excited for her 2010 season at the
Speedzone as well.
